Your courage matches the bravery of many others battling this ongoing illness. I’m aware that some doctors are now prescribing sublingual or oral ketamine to sustain ketamine’s effect between infusions or indeed, in some cases, replacing the infusions. This can be a more practical and affordable option and is worth discussing with your treating physician.

      Steve,
Thank you so very much for taking the time to comment. Grateful. I am aware of these methods. I welcome any providers to contact me so I can add you to my list of Ketamine providers and locations. I am also aware of Troche (lozenges) being prescribed. I have spoken to a couple people using Sublingual Ketamine with great success. Dr. Terrence Early out of Santa Barbara is administering them. This is all very exciting news for those like me suffering. I know of no one using Ketamine in a pill form. However, by oral maybe you were referring to the lozenges. My doctor has prescribed Nasal Ketamine to boost my mood between IM injections. I have been using only a couple months so I am reserving judgements and collecting data. My doctor is aware of Troche but wants to exhaust the nasal Ketmine option first. The spray works for me. These are all great suggestions and worth asking your doctors about for sure. Thank you again for your comment and information. I appreciate and others will too.
